Top Team!!
On Friday the 22nd of November we went to our school back paddock to do top team. There were 12 activity's.
My favorite dry activity was the sling shots. there are three people doing the sling shots and the rest of the team fielding. you have to sling a bean bag the rest of the team trys to catch it. At the end you see who got the most.
my favorite water activity was all of them they were all heaps of fun.

marvelous math boards
In term 1 we learnt how to do math boards. for the last 3 terms our goal in math is to get at least 1-2 math board done a week.

back in time!
On the 29 of October we went on a trip to ferry med.
There we got to experience what life was like way back then.
the first thing we did was get dressed the girls had to were poofy dresses either red, blue or green. Next we got to have some morning tea
we went on a scavenger hunt looking for buildings around the town my top 3 favorite places were the small cinema the school and the jail.
Over all ferry med was loads of fun and I hope to go on a school trip there again.

korfball
Every Thursday we get into 4 groups the groups will either be doing lawn bowel, korfball or cricket.
This Thursday my group did korfball witch was invented in 1980 by Nico Broekhuysen first played in the Netherlands. korfball is a bit like netball and basketball.
the game has a line through the middle of a court witch you can't go over. some of the basic rules are you can't move with the ball, you can't pass a line unless your swapping positions, the ball can't touch your feet and if you have your hands up in their face it's called a good defended shot and they can't shoot.
I recommend this sport to people who love shooting but aren't the best at defense!

On the 24th of October we went down to Rawhiti Domain to do long distance, sprints 50 and 80 meter.
Sadly we didn't get to do high jump long jump and discos as the weather wasn't at it's greatest.
In long distance I came 4th and in 50 meter heats I came 2nd only just and in 50 meter finals I came 3rd. In 80 meter sprints I came 1st in heats and 2nd in finals.
we didn't get our results for shot put but I don't think I was in the top three because on first through I steeped out the front instead of the back in other words I got disqualified as for my second through it wasn't so great.
but over all I was quite proud of myself.
